COMMERCIAL TENANT SERVICES COORDINATOR
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Commercial Tenant Services Coordinator serves as an important link between our office tenants and property management team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone early in their career (2-3 years experience) who is eager to learn the commercial real estate industry. You’ll be trained to understand the differences between commercial and residential properties while developing valuable skills in a corporate environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Tenant Relations
- Learn commercial tenant onboarding – Assist with business move-in processes under the guidance of senior team members
- Begin developing lease abstraction skills – Extract basic information from commercial lease agreements with supervision
- Manage tenant documentation – Track and organize Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for business tenants
- Support resolution of tenant issues – Help address concerns related to corporate tenants including basic maintenance requests, common area questions, and general inquiries
Commercial Portfolio Support
- Assist with accounts receivable – Help track and follow up on outstanding payments from business tenants
- Learn commercial property operations – Work alongside senior management to understand accounts receivable, collections, and basic financial reporting
- Contribute to tenant communication – Help create newsletters, welcome materials, and assist with organizing professional networking events
- Handle administrative tasks – Support the daily operations of commercial office buildings through organized record-keeping and communication
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Experience & Skills
- Early professional experience – 0-3 years in any customer service, administrative, or business support role
- Basic business understanding – Familiarity with professional office environments through education or early work experience
- Customer service orientation – Experience or aptitude for addressing client or customer needs professionally
- Basic financial knowledge – Ability to track payments, understand simple financial terms, and maintain organized records
- Software proficiency – Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel
- Eagerness to learn – Strong desire to develop skills specific to commercial property management

- Good communication skills – ability to interact professionally with business tenants and team members
- Attention to detail and organizational ability
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks with appropriate guidance
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
- High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in any field a plus

This entry-level position focuses exclusively on commercial office tenant relations, not residential properties. While we welcome candidates from various backgrounds, the role involves working with businesses in office buildings rather than residential apartment management.
